Can the dog actually sit with you? Eight Hong Kong restaurant visits

A permit says dogs may enter. A visit shows whether your dog can sit beside the table, whether you need a stroller and how the branch handles its own rules.

We added community notes to eight DogDogHK listings and saved three public visit photos. The reports were collected on 17 July 2026. Venue rules can change, so check with the branch before travelling.

Look at the table, not just the permit

Beans at Langham Place is the newest addition. A community photo shows a dog settled at an indoor table in the venue’s pet area, with the Beans sign and food in frame. For anyone wondering whether the listing describes a theoretical policy or a real dining setup, this is the useful kind of evidence.

At B & W in Causeway Bay, the update records a small indoor wine-bar setting, pizza on the table and a documented dog visit. Harbourview Grill in North Point is the other photo-backed update: the report praised the harbour-side setting and food, and noted that staff gave a clear rule sheet on arrival.

Five more visits to check before you book

• 90s Lazy, Mong Kok — reported as a pet café with private rooms.
• BURGERROOM, Causeway Bay — a repeat visitor specifically called the staff friendly and considerate with dogs.
• Master Chan Dim Sum Specialists, Tsim Sha Tsui — the community report describes a comfortable dog-friendly visit.
• Old Fung Tea House, Mong Kok — reserve ahead and bring a stroller or carrier.
• Hop Fat Restaurant, Mong Kok — described as spacious and clean; the owner reportedly offered dog treats.

These are deliberately modest updates. A community report can show us what happened on a particular visit; it does not override the restaurant’s current policy, capacity limits, mall rules, or staff instructions on another day.

The date matters as much as the photo

Official confirmation tells us whether a restaurant may admit dogs. It cannot tell you whether your dog sits beside the table or outside a barrier, whether a stroller helps, whether private rooms exist or how clearly staff explain the setup.

We keep the source and date beside every community photo and note. You can see what happened on that visit without mistaking one post for a permanent promise.
