Tseung Kwan O lifestyle mall next to Hang Hau MTR. East Point City’s current pet-owner guidelines require pets to be in a stroller, carrier or hand-carried indoors; tenant rules still vary. A G/F indoor dog-park area gives dogs a weather-proof place to pause.

A dog-owner's guide to East Point City

East Point City is a convenient Hang Hau MTR stop, especially when wet weather would otherwise cancel a dog outing. Its G/F indoor dog-park area gives dogs a place to pause, but the indoor access rule remains carrier, stroller or hand-carry. Keep that equipment with you rather than expecting the dog-park area to make the whole mall ground-accessible.

Beans is the current address-linked restaurant entry. Treat it as a useful place to investigate, not proof of seating access. East Point City says tenant policies differ, so ask the restaurant before visiting with a dog. The sensible sequence is to use the indoor dog area, settle the dog into the carrier or stroller, and then approach the restaurant only once you have confirmation.

Parking is HK$20 an hour Monday to Friday and HK$22 an hour on weekends and public holidays. The published offers are for The Point members, 7am to 11pm. Weekdays: HK$300 electronic spending or 3,500 points gives two hours, while HK$500 gives three; 2,000 points gives one hour. Weekends and holidays use higher thresholds: HK$400 or 5,500 points for two hours, HK$600 for three, or 3,500 points for one. Two receipt sets are allowed. MTR Park & Ride is HK$10 an hour from 5:30am to 1am. B1 also has six The Point EV Super Chargers and six Tesla Superchargers.

The restaurant choice is therefore the part worth settling before you leave home. Call the branch, explain whether your dog will remain in a closed carrier or stroller, and ask about the seating area rather than asking only whether the mall accepts pets. Keep a small clean-up kit with you even though the dog park is indoors. If you drive, save the eligible electronic receipts and check the The Point requirement before planning around a parking reward. The shopping centre is close to Hang Hau MTR, so it also works well when driving is not needed.

This is a sensible rainy-day mall trip if you keep the plan modest: carrier first, dog-park pause, confirmed meal, then parking redemption before exit.

It is worth checking the restaurant on the day because a tenant can set a stricter rule than the mall. That confirmation matters more than the directory label.
