A two-kilometre fully-fenced harbourfront promenade running between Central and Sai Ying Pun, with a wide turf lawn made specifically for off-leash dog play. The promenade hosts Lunar New Year fireworks, art fairs and summer concerts, but the pet-friendly turf section is open 24 hours and stays relatively quiet outside event days. Hand-wash stations and dog excreta bins are dotted every couple of hundred metres, and there's a dedicated dog latrine section between the post office and the Shing Tak Centre lookout.
Before you set off
Run from Tamar / the Ferris Wheel along the harbour to Sai Ying Pun — fully fenced past the General Post Office, so off-leash fetch is safe even at night.
