Built on the southern end of the decommissioned Kai Tak runway, this waterfront park combines aviation nostalgia with a dedicated dog off-leash area set against the harbour. The lawn where dogs run is on real grass that drains well after rain, and there's a protected pet-garden section with water taps, benches and waste stations. The runway-end observation deck offers dramatic views across Kowloon Bay and the Lei Yue Mun strait, especially around sunset.
Before you set off
The dog area sits at the far end of the old runway strip, next to the famous life-sized decommissioned Boeing 737 / KCR model plane.
